The scenes were great! Then it became really lame and unbelievable. What happened? Annnd...why such an insignificant story line. No one really buys it. Wish they could take the begining and paste it to a movie with a better story. Love Diesel, hate the movie
Average to good movie. It lacked something for a van desil charcter movie. not a very long movie either. maybe they should of left some of the edited parts in
This movie was horrible! The acting was terrible (Vin Diesel is nice to look at but his acting sucks). There was basically no point to the movie and I would highly suggest not wasting your money on this movie... or even the DVD.
I was very impressed with the acting and I thought that the movie was a little confusing, but still worth seeing. It was a pretty serious movie all the way through, which might have been the reason for it being confusing in some parts, but I would recomend seeing this movie.
Vin Diesel, excellen t, the rest of the movie, NO GOOD. The action scenes are to fast and just quick blur\\\'s. The story line lacks and great interest in the rest of what is going on. save your money, wait till the DVD comes out.
Ok, what was this movie really about... Honestly I'm not sure. I know it's about a Mercenary/Hitma n/Fighter/Trans porter/Bodyguar d guy that transports a girl from Mongolia to America in the near future. That being said, the only other interesting parts were the newer idea's with the special effects. These however, didn't save the movie. The story has reminiscence of Blade Runner and The 5th Element just not nearly as good. it's like the story and the important moments were cut out of the movie to save money and time... No wonder there is no Synopsis available here. Well, come to find out, the Director, Mathieu Kassovitz, wasn't happy with this edited version either. Maybe it will gain substance on the DVD Directors Cut. Hopefully that will salvage this movie that seemed to have good intentions but failed to capitalize on them. Go rent the aforementioned movies instead of seeing this one, until its on DVD anyways.
The fact that movies this horrible get made and then hoisted to number two in the first week is why Hollywood has only another 10 years of this junk left before we all get bored to death. Either that or another 100 million.nLots of stuff blows up, flips over, goes fast; we follow bullets and missiles through the air, wounds heal without pain, the world is a mess, the good guys win, I think. Is that Gerard Depardieu? Does he really need a fake nose? Is that Charlotte Rampling? LOve the eyes. What the *#@%! is going on in this story. Who edited this thing. I'm scared and don't know why.
